Interior Plaster Repair and PaintingThe stunning beauty of the Cathedral makes a visit memorable. To return parts of that beauty, cosmetic attention is needed on the interior of the Cathedral. The Cathedral needs full interior ceiling renovations including repairing bad plaster and the prep and paint of wood columns, molding, windows and trim. |

Full Stained Glass RestorationThe artistic restoration and preservation project of the Cathedral’s stained glass remains a top priority. The meticulous process of restoration includes: removing all the windows, re-leading the stained glass seams, replacing missing pieces, sanding and painting steel frames, and the reinstallation of the stained glass panels. |

Exterior Waterproofing of the CathedralThe vicious elements of south Louisiana take their toll on our city’s icon. The work is needed to waterproof the outside so that it does not succumb to the elements. Everything from stucco repair to sealants are needed. All this work will be done to honor historic building codes of the Vieux Carre Commission while protecting this gem for generations. |
